Quick post for today featuring some holographic nails! I used the polish in Space Jam by Sportsgirl which I got at a discount (score!). Sportsgirls nail polishes usually retail for AU$8.95 but there's always a glass bowl that has older shades on offer for AU$4.95. Come to think of it, I've never bought any Sportsgirl nail polish at full price before.
Anyway, Space Jam is a beautiful holographic silver. What I really like about it is packed with holographic glitters so it almost looks like it has a grey/silver base coat instead of a clear one. This polish is opaque enough with just 1 coat, but I noticed some 'bald spots' on certain areas so I went over with another layer. It dries quite fast and leaves a gritty feel on the nails due to the glitter particles. For this manicure, I applied 2 coats of polish and 1 coat of Essence gel-look top coat. The main purpose that I applied top coat with this polish is to smooth out the rough texture of my nails. (:

Love how chic this polish looks as well as the extra dimension that it has when in the sun. From a distance, it looks just like a simple silver colour so it goes with alot of outfits. This is definitely one of my favourite holographic polishes in my collection, what's yours?
