Bellabox October 2013

Bellabox is 2 years old!!! Hence this month's theme is celebration and this box is suppose to feature some of their favourite items. My box arrived on the 21st so that helped chase some Monday blues away.

No actual box, items came packed in bubble wrap and sleeve.

No box again this month, similar to September. Everything came in a bubble wrap bag inserted into a sleeve. Here are the items I received for October...

2. L'occitane shea butter hand cream (10ml) - 150ml RRP $39

3. Bioderma sebium exfoliating gel (15ml) - 100ml RRP $24.95

5. Jacqueline Burchell nail lacquer duo (2 x 5ml) - 15ml RRP $17.95

6. *BONUS* Maybelline dream pure BB cream (1ml) - 30ml RRP$15.95

Not my favourite things to receive in a beauty box but at least they did it right by including both the shampoo and conditioner. Good to know that it is sulphate-free as well, will definitely try them out and see if it 'brightens' my hair.

Definitely super pleased to receive the oh-so-famous shea butter hand cream by L'occitane! I was really hoping I'd get it after reading the sneak peek post by BB beauty editor Lauren. Can't wait to try it!

Heard so much about Bioderma and am currently using their crealine H2O solution. Definitely looking forward to trying this one out, especially since I have oily skin!

I'm the kind of girl who loves perfume samples because they are sooo expensive. Won't you want to try it out for a period of time before splurging on a whole bottle? I sure do. This scent is quite different to what I'd normally wear but it still smells nice. It is a more mature scent in my opinion but in a sophisticated way. 

So cute that they wrapped it like a candy.

Always happy to see beauty products! Packaging are really cute on these mini polishes. Love the bright fuchsia pink (Jalking A Walk) but feeling kind of 'meh' about the glittery light pink (Miss Pinky).

Already received a full size of this just 2 months ago so excuse my lack of excitement about this makeup sample.

Although I enjoy the items in this month's box, I am quite bummed that there weren't any full size items. Granted the value of the box still exceeds $15, this is one of the lower value boxes I've received in a while. The bonus item wasn't really up my alley as well since I had received a full size of it in August's box. Great box nonetheless, still really keen on trying out the hand cream, exfoliating gel and perfume! 

Happy 2nd birthday Bellabox! I'm counting down to next month already. (:
