Mirenesse is new to me and I've only started hearing about them after living in Australia for a while. It is a high-end aussie makeup brand (in my opinion) and I am really excited to be sharing this review of their lip gloss with you all today.
These babies retail for AU$39.95 but I got mine as a freebie with Woman's Day magazine (AU$4) some time back. There were 10 shades to collect which was definitely worth getting 10 of the same magazines since that only adds up to the cost of one lipgloss. However, as I am not really a lipgloss girl, I only picked up 3 of the shades I wanted that I could get my hands on.
The shades I got were No. 43, No. 44 and No. 47. There are no names of the shades on the actual lipgloss, just numbers. However, I went onto their website and found the corresponding names to the shades I picked up. Here is my attempt at describing the colours...
43 Cinnamon Pop - pink mauve with gold mirco-shimmer
43 Cinnamon Pop - pink mauve with gold mirco-shimmer
44 Butter Ball - peachy/golden pink with alot of gold shimmer
47 Sweet Tart - peachy nude with silver micro-shimmer
47 Sweet Tart - peachy nude with silver micro-shimmer
The packaging on these glosses are pretty but slightly bulky in my opinion, but no biggie! The container is clear so you can see the actual colour of the product which is always a plus.

The white cap handle pulls out to reveal a paddle-brush applicator which picks up alot of product. This is one of the biggest paddle brush applicators I've seen. Although I'm more used to a doe-foot applicator, it is still relatively easy to work with.

The following swatches are sheered out with the paddle brush as how I would apply the on my lips.
No. 43 Cinnamon Pop
These glosses have a faint scent which I actually quite like. It's a pleasant sweet smell that isn't too overwhelming, it just makes you feel pretty when applying it on your lips. The colours are absolutely gorgeous and I really love the look it gives. The shimmer doesn't feel chunky on the lips and I actually don't mind the glittery look. They feel just a little bit sticky like any gloss would and for someone who doesn't like sticky glosses, this one works for me. As with any gloss, they definitely need reapplying after a meal or drink but if I'm just out shopping and chatting with friends, they do last well and feel comfortable for hours.
So far, I'm loving my Mirenesse glosses although I'm not sure if them being freebies made me like them more. I would still recommend them if you're wondering about them. I will be honest though, I might not purchase them at the original price tag because 40 bucks for a gloss is just too much for me. Super happy that I managed to try them at at AU$4 each.
Well, hope this review was helpful! If you've tried any other products from Mirenesse, definitely share your thoughts in the comments. I'd love to hear them! Meanwhile, have a great weekend everyone! (:
