On my recent trip to Watsons, I decided to pick up the Colorshow crayon khol that I've been eyeing. I first saw the stand a couple of weeks back, swatched them in store and am super impressed by their staying power. To my knowledge, Maybelline released 9 shades for this line in Singapore and the price tag on these are really affordable at only SG$8.90 each!
The colour that I am most excited about is Shiny Beige, which is the champagne shade because it's not just a nude or white. It is shimmery but I think it actually really works well to brighten and make my eyes look bigger. This liner is super sleek and thinner than most pencils, which is what I love about it. Even the actual product is fine-tipped which makes application really easy.
Super fine tip, perfect for lining the waterline. |
Swatch on my hand. |
As you can see, it has the most natural highlighting effect on my waterline (almost could not tell I had the liner on when I was uploading the pictures). It applies easily as well and stays put for several hours. I won't say that it lasts all day but you can count on it to stay on for 4-5 hours. For me that is pretty good as nothing seems to last on my waterline, not sure because my eyes are constantly teary or because of the oils.
If you don't have problems with pencil liners smudging on you, the Colorshow crayon khol pencils are definitely worth checking out. I might even go out and get the green, purple and blue, although honestly I would love every shade in my collection. Haha! Hope you enjoyed this review, till next time. xo Kristy.
