Lust have it: June 2013

For the first time, I received my Lust have it box before my Bellabox so I was pretty excited about it! It's good that Lust have it is finally doing something about sending out their boxes earlier in the month so that everyone receives it in time before the month is over. Anyway, moving along to the unboxing. This month's box feels kind of light so I was already a little bumped but let's take a look at what's inside.

Light brown floral design for June.

This is what I received this month:
1. Rachel K colour control CC cream in Neutral (4 sachets) - 50ml RRP $39
2. Batiste dry shampoo in Cherry (50ml) - 200ml RRP $9.95
3. Pure Fiji hydrating body lotion in Coconut (not specified) - 354ml RRP $29.95
4. Real Purity natural lipstick in Regal Red (not specified) - RRP US$15
Crown Brush disposable lip brush (no value stated)
5. Doctor Babor derma cellular collagen booster cream (not specified) - 50ml RRP $249

Total estimated value - unknown.

I already own the full size of this CC cream in original (black packaging) since it's a Singapore-based brand. But I'm still really excited to try this sample because the 'neutral' range was a later release and I have yet to try it.

Love the packaging.

Pot sample of the lipstick.
The lip brush is quite poorly constructed and I'd actually rather receive a mini tube lipstick than this duo. Especially since the lipstick isn't very pigmented, applying with my finger or a regular lip brush doesn't give much colour payoff.

To be honest, this month's box didn't impress me. Some of the information on my card was wrong, like the scent for the body lotion and the colour of the lipstick sample. And not even one full size product, tsk tsk.. I'm sure they can do so much better. Plus all the sample didn't state how much product was in it except for the Batiste dry shampoo, which makes it hard for me to calculate the overall value of my box to judge it. The full size of the collagen booster cream is ridiculously expensive, so I'm assuming the 'value' of the box is covered by that sample which makes me feel slightly cheated.

This will be my last box from Lust have it. Definitely was not blown away by their subscription service although it's not entirely bad. However, considering the price tag of AU$19.95.. it's not very worth it in my opinion. If you are subscribed to Lust have it, I would love to hear what you got this month as well as your experience with them so far! Hope you enjoyed reading.. and have a lovely week ahead! xo
